How long does it take to run a credit check for an apartment?

I recently applied to rent for an apartment. How long does it take for them to run all the credit check and to verify that all the information written on the application was true? I want to move in as soon as possible and I am 100% sure I meet the income requirements, and am 99% sure I have great rental history and credit history. Does it take two-three days or what??

How long does it take to get an FSGLI payout?

I don’t know if anyone will be able to help me with this… But, does anyone know an approximate idea of how long it will take to get the FSGLI payout for our son’s death? I am really hoping to try to turn a negative into at least some kind of positive and use the money to go back to school. It would help me plan if I had any idea when we might get the payout. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How many hours can a salaried employee work in one week?

I work over 50 hours a week but I am only scheduled for 40. Is it lawful for my employer to force me to work over 40 hours? Sometimes I am taken to meetings that aren’t over until 3 hours after my quit time. If I come to work late, I am docked but I do not get a bonus if I work past my quit time. In fact, I am still docked if I come late and stay past my quit time. Is this legal?

Why is it so hard to find people who know how to repair computers?

I have had computers for 11 years.And whenever something goes wrong,there are several places that repair computers here.But the problem is they are all employed by teenagers who don’t have a clue what they are doing.99 out of a 100 times if you take your computer to them they will keep it a few days,then tell you its fixed,charge you,and then it works worse than it did before.Take it to them again,then its the same thing over again.
