What do you think about parent participation in the classroom?

The school we are considering, has about 6 students per teacher and rely heavly on parents participating on a regular basis. Some moms are there all day everyday.

i would really love to pursue a career as a bar tender for the reasons of the love for mixing drinks and chemistry. i just cant get enough of it!! but before i do that im working toward a degree in psychology then hopefully transfer.

Every mealtime descends into farce. My two youngest children always get the giggles at mealtimes. I’m not expecting everyone to sit there in stony silence. I have a sense of humour and I love to hear my children laugh but I would like to have one meal that didn’t involve me having to tell people off. To make it worse sometimes I struggle to keep my own face straight so I’m not setting the best example. Any suggestions?

What sorts of foods can I eat that will help me loose weight fast?

Im home for about 3 weeks before I head back to school and I would love to go back looking great. I need to loose about 15 or so pounds and get my body looking great. What are the best foods that I could eat to help me loose the weight fast? I know drinking lots of water, and also exercising but does any one have any tricks? Special foods or exercises that work well and fast?

How can I convince my boss to allow me to work remotely?

Here’s the deal. I live and work for a big company in Chicago. I love the company I work for and I don’t want to leave but I have to move out of state to care for my grandmother. I work as a receptionist right not but I am not going to be able to do that from home. I am hoping to switch to an Administrative positions remotely. They have at lease 10 people that work remotely, none of which are Admin. The company is expanding and they have even created a new position that I believe I could be of assistance with. I just want to know what to say to my boss to really sell her on it. There is a ton of work that I do here that can be done from a PC at home. I would be the first to propose it though. This move is unexpected and happening soon. Please help.

Where can a 17 year old learn about cars?

I’m 17 and I LOVE cars lol. Anyway, I’m interested in learning about engines, how they work, etc. basically all the tech stuff involved in cars because I want to work on my own car and modify it.
5 CommentsI just want to go to some automotive school or something over the summer while school is out…are there such places that can teach automotive tech stuff to people such as myself? I don’t want to pursue a career in the automotive industry, but I really want to learn about them.
